Space Scavengers is an electronic music duo from Greece formed by Spinnet and Deeply Unexpected. Their music revolves around the styles of dub techno, deep techno, minimal techno and alike. They had their first release as a duo in 2014 on a Greek label known as Audio Theory Records. This particular release was a combination of their personal influences of atmospheric electronica with breakbeat and drum & bass grooves over a dub workflow. They went ahead and adopted the name Space Scavengers for future endeavors, mainly focused in dub techno and dub electronica. In the following years a number of EPs and albums were released on Cold Tear Records, amidst appearances on other labels of the scene, such as Echogarden and Tehnofonika Records, including collaborative releases with an ambient artist Halftribe, Dusty Shape and Modal Cat. Space Scavengers have also appeared on Greek labels like Very Important Music, Deep Garnet Records and a German label DimbiDeep Music.
