Vėjopatis is a dub techno artist and a musician from Lithuania. Started to make electronic music when he was still going to school. Went through a lot of different styles and genres. Nikolaj (his real name) was into ambient and chill out, but after he found out about dub techno, he realised that this is the genre where he can put together rhythm and ambience.
“My biggest source of inspiration is city and nature. City could not exist without natre. There’s harmony everywhere, and a human lives in that harmony. I can see nature in the city at night. City traffic is like a river, even the sound is similair to a river. Flat apartaments is like concrete forest. The most inspiring thing to me is an idea, that each, nature and a city have their own special music.”

My name is Vytis Dineika, i was born in Lithuania, near Kaunas. (1988/DEC/11). Since i was 16 i had to leave Lithuania and move to Ireland. I used to listen to house/trance/ambient music. The years went by and i switched to dub techno, techno, industrial techno, acid techno, idm, chillout, dark ambient styles. Somehow i downloaded Ableton, didnt know where to start, or how to make a bassline. After a while i learned how to draw kicks and hats. Almost everyday i was learning Ableton and trying to get deeper sound from the virtual instruments. I remember myself growing around abandoned military bunkers, mounds and swamps. I love to get drawn into a deep fog by the lake, and wait for the sun to rise. I was inspired by nature so i guess thats why i’m here now in Dub Techno world.

I like to play keyboards, guitars, wind instruments but mostly keyboards.
I like the sound of real instruments as well synthesized sounds and I like to experiment with both worlds to create sound atmospheres.
I like to be honest for the feeling that evokes the sound in me, as well I like to be honest for the sound that evokes the feeling in me.”

Subforms
Subforms is a prospective dub/techno/ambient project from the Ukraine.
Two young lads (Yevgeny Konovalov, Dmitry Oleynik) have combined their efforts and experience to create a project independent of any commercial framework.
Subforms play and write great minimalistic music which has never been limited, they are free to experiment with sound and style.
Their dj sets are diverse and rich of all the shades of techno from the depths of dub techno sound to classics.

Weight and Treble
Weight and Treble is a dub band from italy.
Sharp as a knife, deep as a well, such is the sound of Weight and Treble. Manuele Giannini (production, programming), Massimo Carozzi (production, mixing) and Suz (vocals) share the same passion for heavy basslines, relentless rhythms and crashing echo chambers.
Operating upon an unfolding canvas of analog synthesizers and dusty record players, Weight and Treble builds skeletal, stripped bare bass and drum structures in which the space between the sounds is crucial. The music is tense and tight, deep and reverberating, strictly rooted in the chemistry of the recording studio.

Spaceci
[Space-ci, Space_ci, [ ] _ci and other variants thereof] is the ambient/dub techno/drone/noise/field recording/modern classical based project of Neil Tibbetts. Neil hails from South London and has been quietly producing music and attempting to develop some structure and style for his output for around five years. Having a background deeply rooted in electronic and dance music and drawing on influences from the UK, Berlin and Detroit his sound is always heavily influenced by these spiritual homes of electronic music , whilst the results always remain an individual interpretation of those influences rather than a strict emulation. The constant changing of style and evolving sound in his musical output is frustratingly attributed to his many past (and continuing) years of trying to emulate his favourite music but never actually managing to attain the desired results. Ultimately music is a way of life for Neil. The need to express this and create music drive his aspirations of composing beautiful and touching soundscapes , the concept always that they be a fitting accompaniment to the many simple moments of natural beauty which we encounter in our day to day existence and that they in someway invoke reflection on our entire journey through life.

F.l.o. is a deep techno producer from Germany. He was born and raised in a small town near Frankfurt/M. Florian now spends most of his time in Berlin. He has been dj’ing since he was fifteen years old. As he has stated, he’s far away from media hype bullshit. It is more important for him to create experimental ambient music in a different minimal kind of way.

Giriu Dvasios
Giriu Dvasios is a Lithuanian dub techno project by an electronic music producer and founder of Cold Tear Records label also known as SoulSonic. In lithuanian Giriu Dvasios name means „The Spirits of the Woods“. It is inspired by nature, thick lithuanian forests and ancianet mythology of this nation.
It is now a well established name in dub techno scene. Giriu Dvasios has played gigs in all the biggest lithuanian electronic music festivals.
